We were pleasantly surprised on a visit to San Francisco to get to know Fred Pecker better. He is my son-in-law’s uncle. We met him at their wedding. We gave him a call and he not only showed us the San Francisco bridge area, took us out to walk on the bridge, insisted on taking us to dinner and he arranged a boat ride around the bay. He treated us like long lost friends. We were so sorry when we found of his illness and now his passing.
